This corner showcases the many beautiful, traditional elements of Bengal. In this space, the brick wall sports a round bamboo shelf, and a wooden framed art piece.The adjacent wall is beautifully adorned with nakshi kanthas, with a sitar resting against it. The bamboo blinds, decorated with leafy crawlers, allow ambient natural lighting to enter. For no Bengali traditional corner would be complete without touches of musical instruments- this space hosts a guitar and a tabla placed on the satrangi rug. Layered lighting has been incorporated through ceiling installations, however, the highlight here is the gamcha patterned pendant light!
